How to go from Basic to Boujie with your décor!

As you know I am all about doing it Luxury on a Budget, but I must tell you it is not straight forward. There’s a skill to apply because it needs to compliment what is already existing in your space otherwise your décor will look off. Another skill required is knowing what looks expensive, because not everything that is expensive gives that opulent taste. You’re probably reading at this point thinking okay are you going to tell me how I can do this??

Well, I will my darlings, patience- Rome wasn’t built in a day. You’re going to transition which takes time for the best results, so we will do this in stages, hopefully you will come back to learn more and I can review how you’re getting on with it. The first thing I want you to do is start looking at well-known high end décor pieces and furniture. Get an eye for it so that when you see it elsewhere you recognise it straight away and if you’ve done your homework, you can even name the designer! Once you do this come back and I will go on to stage 1 on enhancing your space from “Basic to Bougie”.
